Susie Sedlacek, Principal
Susie is a business executive with 20+ years of experience aligning customer services with corporate strategies. She has sat on the executive teams of high-technology Fortune 500 and Tier-1 VC-backed software startups. While there she supported their growth with high impact customer services and strong delivery teams. Her skills include the acquisition and retention of customer accounts, building high performance teams globally, transitioning services and developing go-to-market strategies when moving from SMB target markets to Enterprise markets, and increasing revenues and profits. She has also developed successful programs around developer communities for companies working in the Open Source space. She includes in her expansive portfolio the development of Zend training, the Zend Certified Developer programs, Magento U and the Magento Certified Developer program. Susie has worked in senior roles at companies that include Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Network Appliance, Zend Technologies, and Magento/eBay. Susie currently sits on the board of an e-commerce start up as well a non-profit focused on preparing under privileged and at-risk youth for opportunities in the work force.
Fred Sedlacek, Principal
Fred has over 25 years of experience in services business development for the high tech industry working with companies such as Sun Microsystems, Genesys and Cisco Systems. Fred is experienced in creating and growing local and global customer services initiatives around product launches. This included the development of services offerings and the identification and development of appropriate delivery channels across international geographies. He identified, recruited, on-boarded, trained and managed offshore teams. He also built out the in-house business infrastructure and built out company representation in country to support the off-shore teams. In addition to customer services, Fred built out comprehensive global developer programs to drive the increased adoption of Java and Solaris while at Sun Microsystems.
